Holmarc’s MTS 3760 is a motorized linear translation stage that provides 50 mm travel range for a 0.5 kg payload with a resolution of 0.0025mm (Half step) and provides accuracy and repetability at the range of +/-10 µm or even better in both cases. Electrical actuator used is a 28 mm frame sized stepper motor. Drive is provided with a 1mm pitch precision leadscrew and employs a V-grooved precision guideway for translation. M4 tapped holes are provided on the moving plates for mounting purpose. Aluminium alloy B51S is used for its construction and is provided with a black anodized finish.
