Standard Honeycomb breadboards from holmarc use magnetic stainless steel (SS 400 series) as its top skin. Core of the breadboard is of honeycomb structure made from aluminium. Thickness of these breadboards generally vary between 50 mm and 100 mm. Honeycomb breadboards can be placed on any type of working table- wooden, metal or granite - to quickly build an optical working surface that has the convenience of tapped holes at grid in addition to rigidity and stability of the honeycomb structure. These can as well be used to build extra elevated working surface on optical tables. With suitable angle brackets and clamps, vertical working surfaces can also be created.
