Holmarc’s thin film related product range includes equipments for production of thin films as well as characterization instruments such as ellipsometers, spectro-photomters etc. Holmarc manufactures spin coating, dip coating and spray pyrolisis equipments in various specifications.

Spray Pyrolisis Equipment

Holmarc’s spray pyrolysis equipment automates the various fatigue and error creating possibilities when the process is performed manually. Dispensing rate of the solution and speed of spray head movement are controlled precisely.

SILAR Coating System

Holmarc’s SILAR coating system has been designed to automate the entire process to avoid operator fatigue and errors associated with its manual version.

SILAR Coating System with Stirrer

This model has a motorized substrate holder which can be used to stir the solution. The rotation speed can be controlled from 1 - 200 rpm. This also comes equipped with six hot plates having independent temperature control.

Dip Coating Unit

Holmarc’s dip coating unit is designed to keep operator involvement as minimum as possible so that variables like speed, duration, etc. are maintained accurately by computer control.

Angle Dependent Dip Coating Unit

Basic principle of ADDC: The substrate is drawn out of the coating solution through a well defined angle of inclination. Both surfaces are coated simultaneously resulting in different film thickness at front and back side.

Dip Coating Unit with hot chamber

In this dip coating unit, the substrate is dipped in a solution, withdrawn and moved into a heating chamber. Temperature of the chamber can be controlled and fixed up to 75°C from ambient. All other features are same as that of Model : HO-TH-01.

Dip Coating Unit With Infrared Dryer

The use of infrared dryer provides uniform heating to the substrate and thus produces a much better quality thin film coating on it and that too in much lesser time.

Dip Coating Unit with temperature control

Temperature inside the chamber can be set at any desired temperature between 35°C and 75°C and is controlled by a microcontroller based system. The entire control system is regulated through an interfaced PC.

Spin Coating Machine

Spin coating has been used for several decades for the application of thin films. The typical process involves depositing a small puddle of fluid resin onto the center of a substrate and then spinning the substrate at high speed.

In this Ion exchanger, the substrate is dipped in a melt placed inside a heater. Temperature of the heater can be controlled and fixed up to 400°C from ambient. Speed, duration, etc. are maintained accurately by computer control.
