The INE1000 FibSpinner is a high-capacity, needle-less electrospinning unit engineered for industrial-scale nanofiber production. Designed with a bottom-up spinning approach, the unit enables the uniform coating of nanofibers on substrates up to 1000 mm wide using a roll-to-roll mechanism.

Unlike traditional needle-based systems, the INE1000 employs three stainless steel thin-slit spinneret rods to facilitate needle-less electrospinning, significantly reducing clogging, maintenance, and downtime. Each spinneret is fed by an independently controlled peristaltic pump system, offering precise control of flow rate and uniform fiber distribution.

The unit features a high-voltage power supply with adjustable output: 0 to +60 kV for the spinneret and 0 to -40 kV for the collector, with a fine voltage precision of 0.1 kV and a maximum current of 2 mA. The stainless steel slit electrodes measure 1000 mm in length with slit dimensions of 2 mm depth and 4 mm width. Three individual peristaltic pumps allow a flow rate range of 0.01 to 40 ml/min, maintaining precise delivery with a resolution of 0.01 ml/h. The system accommodates a maximum roll diameter of 600 mm and operates at substrate winding speeds from 0.1 to 25.0 m/min. The spinneret-to-collector distance is adjustable from 150 mm to 300 mm with a precision of 1 mm. The power requirement is 230 VAC at 18 A with a maximum consumption of 4200 W.

The system is controlled via a 12” touchscreen interface, allowing operators to configure process parameters, save/load recipes, and monitor system status in real-time. Integrated safety features, including high-voltage interlocks, emergency stop, and overcurrent protection, ensure user safety and equipment integrity.

This platform supports a wide range of polymer viscosities and is ideal for research, prototyping, and commercial-scale nanofiber production applications in sectors like biomedical engineering, filtration, protective textiles, and energy storage.
