Holmarc’s HO-2DTS-TM-01CM1 motorized 2D transfer platform is engineered for the assembly of high-quality 2D material stacks and accurately defined twisted structures. The system incorporates a high-resolution trinocular microscope with brightfield imaging, allowing continuous visual feedback of the transfer process with high contrast and clarity.

The substrate is mounted on a vacuum-thermal chuck with temperature control from room temperature (RT) up to 200°C. The combination of vacuum clamping and controlled heating facilitates dependable flake pick-up, clean release, and enhanced interfacial integrity during transfer. The chuck assembly is mounted on a motorized XYZ-θ stage, providing precise translational and angular alignment throughout complex transfer sequences.

A motorized XYZ stamping stage, combined with a manual tilting platform, enables accurate stamp placement and controlled contact with the substrate. With a total of nine high-precision motion axes, the system offers exceptional flexibility and alignment freedom for advanced transfer processes. Both the substrate stage (XYZ–θ) and the stamping stage (XYZ) are equipped with linear encoders, ensuring high positional accuracy, excellent repeatability, and smooth, reliable motion control.

System operation is managed through an intuitive software that enables live measurements, accurate alignment, focusing, and microscope objective selection. For added operational convenience, a dedicated joystick controller is provided, allowing smooth and responsive manual control for the transfer process.
